What we collect from applicants
Application answers, contact details, links you share (GitHub, website, demo), employment context you disclose, and any files you upload if you are shortlisted. Where you consent, we also collect UTM and referral information to understand how applicants find LaunchPort.
How we use application information
We use application information to review your project, prepare interviews and diligence, operate LaunchPort services if you are accepted, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal, tax, and payment-provider requirements.
Sensitive documents
You are not required to upload sensitive employment or ownership documents to submit an initial application. If your application progresses, we may request specific documents; those are held in private storage with admin-only access, and every read is logged.
Anonymity
You may operate publicly under a product name or approved alias. However, LaunchPort must privately verify your legal identity and other information required for risk, payments, tax, sanctions, fraud prevention, and contractual purposes.
Retention
We retain application information for as long as needed to make and document review decisions, operate services for accepted projects, and comply with legal obligations.
